“Generosity multiplies when shared”
Guest of the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation’s Blog on Le Temps platform, Alexandra Jequier explores this question through different episodes that made her aware of philanthropy from a young age and discusses ways to perpetuate and encourage this tradition with the younger generation.
“My father always opened my eyes to the fact that we are not all born with the same opportunities. He taught me empathy, and told me that those who have more should share with those who have less.”
Now a Board member of the Hahnloser Foundation, the author has always made philanthropy the cornerstone of her life. Through her experiences and exchanges, she delivers a strong and inspiring message in favor of generosity at every stage of life and the importance of transmission within the family.
This blog was written as part of a contribution opportunity we offered to the Alumni of the Master Class in Philanthropy, in which Alexandra Jequier participated in 2020.
We invite you to discover the article in its entirety on Le Temps‘ website “Il donne, tu donnes, je donne…” and warmly thank Alexandra Jequier for her touching and hopeful contribution to this collaboration before the end of the year holidays.
