The Italian version of the Swiss Foundation Code was launched last week in Lugano. This is the fourth edition of this reference book on good governance and management practices for foundations in Switzerland and beyond, which is now available in three national languages (French, German, Italian) and in English.
This presentation was organised by SwissFoundations, in collaboration with Cenpro-competenze non profit e filantropia. Sabrina Grassi, Executive Director of Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, addressed the audience as Co-Vice President of SwissFoundations.
The foundation sector in Ticino is very dynamic, with 819 foundations registered in the canton. Cenpro and the new association ASFESI, which aims to bring together donor foundations in Ticino, are making a major contribution to the vitality of the sector in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
Our presence in Ticino was also an opportunity to meet several partners, notably in the framework of the Transnational Giving Europe network.
