Rapid Response Fund for Lebanon: a new distribution of support

Thanks to the generosity of 12 donors, our Rapid Response Fund for Lebanon, activated on October 1, 2024 in response to the tragic escalation of hostilities in the country, continues its commitment to the most vulnerable populations. To date, CHF 377,000 have been received.

At the beginning of the year, a second distribution of donations enabled us to reinforce our support for local organizations involved in psychosocial support and food aid.

We renewed our support for Insan and arcenciel, but also supported a new organization: Beit Al Baraka, which helps families in great financial distress.

The projects of these three organizations, identified and monitored by WISE Philanthropy Advisors, include the distribution of humanitarian aid, access to healthcare and food, and other essential needs.

More specifically, the combined objectives of these three organizations are as follows:

  • Offer psychological and medical support to 544 people.
  • Distribute essential goods (food, materials) to 1,100 vulnerable people (destitute elderly people, people with disabilities).

We would like to thank our donors, whose generosity enables us to provide concrete support to those who need it most.
