The second edition of the “NewGen Council” took place from 15 to 17 September 2016 in London. This project is supported by Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, in collaboration with WISE – philanthropy advisors, as part of its thematic fund “Promotion of Philanthropy”. This second round allowed to pursue the reflections and ideas initiated in February in Geneva with “NewGen” philanthropists, aged 25 to 35 and from all over the world. Around round tables and numerous animations, different themes could be deepened, such as the definition of their own philanthropic ambition, governance or communication within the family. A project visit was also scheduled, allowing a rich exchange between participants and beneficiaries, as well as the acquisition of knowledge and concrete tools. The NewGen Council takes place over a two-year period in key cities of the new generation of philanthropists. It is possible thanks to the partnership with FBN International and Polaris association. The third edition of the NewGen Council will be held in New York from 9 to 12 March 2017.
