In the frame of its thematic funds, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation in collaboration with WISE – philanthropy advisors traveled to India to identify and plan the implementation of projects in the field of access to employment for disadvantaged young people and health.
This field trip was a great occasion to visit as well the projects funded by the Foundation in New Dehli and Mumbai, including a training center that allows young people to learn a trade through a three-month theoretical and practical apprenticeship in the field mechanical, beauty and nursing.
“I was fortunate to meet the NGO’s that the Foundation supports and measure how involved and invested they are. We had the chance to meet young people in training, in centers in rural areas, and I was impressed by their determination and thirst for learning” says Marie Dolla, Project Manager at Swiss Philanthropy Foundation
