The first edition of the “Biennale della Filantropia Strategica”, an initiative of CENPRO, the centre of excellence for nonprofits in Italian-speaking Switzerland, will be held on September 30th, 2021 in Lugano, with the aim to promote philanthropy in the Italian-speaking Switzerland.
This will be their first conference open to the public and bilingual, dedicated exclusively to philanthropy. A rich programme over a full day with interactive sessions to encourage the sharing of ideas and approaches as well as valuable networking opportunities.
Sabrina Grassi, Director General of Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, has been invited to speak about her experience in developing and professionalizing a fast-growing major umbrella foundation as well as share the challenges and trends in philanthropy that she observes during a round table with other actors of the Swiss philanthropic landscape.
“We are very happy to see the emergence of new initiatives dedicated to promote philanthropy in Switzerland and to be able to share our expertise to the Swiss-Italian public,” says Sabrina Grassi.

CENPRO, created in 2020, aims to create a networking hub for non-profit organization, strengthen their skills through training and professional advice, promote the exchange of information and good practices and finally consolidate links with the rest of Switzerland and Italy.
